Sell Your Musical Instruments
Why sell with Karacha?

By selling through Karacha.com you will simply earn more cash for your instrument than you would by selling anywhere else*. Karacha is a trusted retailer of quality musical instruments and as such we attract tens of thousands of visitors each month all looking to buy.

Due to the busy nature of the Karacha.com if you search online for terms such as saxophone, clarinet or violins you will find us on the first page of all major search engines.  But we welcome people selling everything from Fender Guitars to Grand Pianos, not just the instruments we are well known for!

How it works?

Simply email us on customerservices@karacha.com include 3 pictures of your item (it has to be the actual item not a manufacturer's picture) along with full details such as make and model number. Lastly include a short description of your specific item e.g. it is in good playing condition but has some damage or the case is missing a strap etc.

What next?

If we think your instrument represents good value we will put a classified advert on Karacha.com for FREE.

To qualify for a free listing your item must not be priced within 20% of a similar Karacha.com product. If it is you may still list it but a fee of £10 will apply. For example if you wish to sell a saxophone at £260 a £10 fee would apply, but if you wish to sell a saxophone at £500 no fee would apply. You can email us before sending pictures to enquire if the fee would apply.

Whenever a potential buyer contacts us about the instrument we will simply forward their email to you and you may then discuss the instrument and arrange the sale with the buyer directly.

Once sold simply inform Karacha.com and we will remove the listing.

Karacha will place all adverts for 30days, if it is not sold within this period we may offer to extend it.

Selling Safe

The Karacha classified system works just the same as placing an advert in a magazine or a car on auto trader. It is up to the buyer and seller to ensure they use common sense during the sale.

1 – When possible complete the sale in person. Both parties should bring a friend, try out the instrument, agree a price and pay via a secure method e.g. immediate bank transfer.

2 – If buying and selling from a distance we recommend using a payment system such as paypal. You can ensure the buyer and seller is “verified”, meaning various buyer and seller protections are open to you.  Other such systems do exist and we suggest you investigate which suits your needs best.

Karacha Music Ltd can in no way be held responsible for any losses incurred to either the buyer or the seller.

*When Karacha auctioned a selection of musical instruments and listed others on non specialist musical instrument websites we found on average they sold for 45% less than the price achieved when listed as pre-owned instruments on Karacha.com
